Andreas Lebert

Andreas Lebert (born October 7, 1955 in Munich ) is a German journalist. He has been editor-in-chief of Zeit Wissen since August 2013 and is a lecturer at the Institute for Culture and Media Management at Freie Universität Berlin .

Life

Lebert is a son of Ursula and Norbert Lebert . Lebert was head of department at Brigitte from 1986 to 1989 . In 1990 Lebert founded the SZ-Magazin and was editor-in-chief there until 1996. He also designed the SZ youth magazine Jetzt there .

In 1996 and 1997 Lebert was deputy editor-in-chief of Stern . For Die Zeit , he then designed the “Life” section, which his company LEBERT Medienproduktion GmbH, founded in 1998, produces. LEBERT Medienproduktion GmbH also designed the women's magazine Brigitte mom . Lebert was editor-in-chief of Brigitte from 2002 to August 2012 . Since August 2013 he has been leading Zeit Wissen.

Together with his younger brother Stephan Lebert , he published the non-fiction book “Instructions for Being Male” in 2007. Lebert's son is the writer Benjamin Lebert .
