Zeit Wissen (own spelling in capital letters) is the bi-monthly knowledge magazine of the Zeitverlag . The magazine was published for the first time in December 2004. The editorial office is located in Hamburg like the one at the time . The sold circulation is 87,120 copies, an increase of 21.7 percent since 2006.

“Zeit Wissen” presents topics in the three sections “Research & Technology”, “Health & Psychology” and “Environment & Society”. The magazine wants to discover science for its readers with exciting and at the same time relevant topics.
Editors and authors
The founding editor was Christoph Drösser , who also works in the “Knowledge” section of the weekly newspaper. In January 2007 he was followed by Jan Schweitzer, who was previously the science editor of Stern . On August 1, 2013, Schweitzer moved to the editorial office of the mother paper Die Zeit , where he took over the knowledge department . Andreas Lebert was his successor at Zeit Wissen . The editor is Andreas Sentker, who heads the “Knowledge” section of the time . The editorial team includes Hella Kemper, Max Rauner and Katrin Zeug. The authors are Niels Boeing and Sven Stillich.
Awards
Zeit Wissen has received several awards, including the 2007 LeadAwards in the “Lead Magazine of the Year” category. The magazine's authors and editors have also won the “Heureka” journalism award several times, as well as the “Georg von Holtzbrinck Prize for Science Journalism”.
