Tau1 Gruis b

τ 1 Gruis b (also spelled Tau 1 Gruis b or Tau1 Gruis b ) is an exoplanet orbiting the yellow dwarf τ 1 Gruis every 1311 days . Due to its mass , it is assumed that it is a gas planet . The planet was created by John Asher Jones et al. Discovered in 2002 using the radial velocity method.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approx. 2.6 astronomical units with an eccentricity of 0.07 and has a minimum mass of approx. 1.3 Jupiter masses (approx. 400 earth masses ).
