Max Ostermann (doctor)

Max Ostermann (* 1886 ; † 1967 ) was an Austrian physician and editor-in-chief .

Ostermann received his doctorate as Dr. med. In 1912 he took over the management of the specialist journal Ars Medici in Vienna from Isaak Segel . In 1938 Ostermann emigrated to Basel and from then on printed his magazine in the "Lüdin printing works" in Liestal . He headed the magazine until his death in 1967.

His best-known work is the diagnostic-therapeutic manual of the Ars medici , which has been published several times .
