Max Urban

Max Urban (* 9. April 1984 in Lachen , Switzerland , as Sergio Maximiliano Luvualu ) is a Swiss Pop - and RnB singer.

Career

At the age of seven, Max Urban discovered his passion for music in the Voz de Africa family choir , led by his mother . He became known in 2003 through the Swiss talent show MusicStar , in which he made it to the finals.

In 2010, Max Urban was a collaboration partner on over 20 titles in various projects ranging from dance music to hip-hop to RnB songs on the Swiss music scene. Among them were artists like Christopher S ( Star ) or David May ( Facebook Love ).

The most commercially successful song to date is called Star . The song was recorded with the Swiss DJ Christopher S. It reached the charts in several European countries, including Germany, France and Switzerland. In the follow-up single One Day he was also a guest musician with Christopher S.

He then worked with various DJs and singers. Among them were David May, Tito Torres and Negatif. However, none of these singles could reach the charts.

He has been under contract with the dance label Kontor Records since 2012 and shortly afterwards released his first own single, Best Party in Town , which can also be found on the sampler Kontor House of the House Vol. 15 .

Also in 2012, several German-speaking singles of him appeared. In all of these he was given as a guest musician by various artists such as C.mEE or Samurai . The songs all represented the rap genre rather than the dance-pop style that was more typical for him .

In December 2012, a new single with Christopher S was announced. It is entitled Put Your Hands Up For the World . It was released on May 24, 2013 and, like all other Kontor releases, was presented on a sampler. The official music video first appeared on Syrup Music on March 3, 2013 .
