Max Valentin

Max Valentin (born July 14, 1875 in Fürstenwalde / Spree ; † May 5, 1931 in Berlin ) was a German sculptor .

Live and act

Valentin studied at the Berlin Art Academy under Ludwig Manzel (1894–1908 as a student and employee). He then worked as a freelance sculptor in Charlottenburg . From 1904 to 1918 he was regularly represented with his objects at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition . He mainly created small sculptures, some of which are strongly influenced by Art Nouveau . He found his final resting place in the south-west cemetery in Stahnsdorf .
