Ray Knepper

Ray Knepper (born February 22, 1920 in Belleville , Illinois , † February 15, 2000 in Lebanon , Illinois) was an American racing driver .

Career

Ray Knepper started in nine races for the AAA National Series in 1950 and 1951 . His best result was a 5th place, achieved in 1951 in Langhorne .

In 1951 he failed to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 mile race - this race was part of the world championship between 1950 and 1960.
