Max von Lützow
Max von Lützow (* before 1910 , † after 1949 ) was a German editor and civil servant .
Live and act
In the years 1931 and 1932 Lützow can be verified as an editor at the Telegraphen-Union belonging to the Hugenberg concern . According to his own information from the post-war period, he was already friends with the later Gestapo chief Rudolf Diels .
In April 1933 Lützow was brought in by Diels as a liaison officer in the management of the Secret State Police Office (Gestapa). In January 1934 he became head of the Gestapa press office. Diels later claimed Lützow was a legally minded man who had supported him in the fight against SA terror in Berlin in 1933/34 and in the enforcement of the Christmas amnesty of 1933.
On April 25, 1934, Lützow was released from his position in the Gestapa.
After the Second World War , Lützow, who claims to have never belonged to the NSDAP or any of its branches, was head of the umbrella organization of the metal industry employers' associations in the bizone .
