Maxim Petrovich Pokidov

Maxim Petrovich Pokidow ( Russian Максим Петрович Покидов ; born July 11, 1989 in Lipetsk ) is a Russian track and road cyclist.

Maxim Pokidow won the gold medal in the points race at the European Junior Track Cycling Championships in Athens in 2006, ahead of his compatriot Alexei Schirjajew and the Spaniard Salvador Guardiola . In the 2009 season he drove for the amateur team JMS. At the Udmurt Republic Stage Race, he finished third in the prologue and came second in the seventh stage. Pokidow has been driving for the Russian Continental Team Moscow since 2010 .
