Maximilian Grewe

Maximilian Robin Grewe (born April 2, 1986 ) is a former German football player .

career

Grewe was a member of Schleswig-Holstein 's youth football team . As a teenager, he spent a year in the US state of Delaware . In 2004 he was appointed to Germany's junior national team, with which he became vice European champion. In the men's area, he was a member of the Hamburg Blue Devils in 2005 and 2006 , and in 2005 he was German runner-up with the team.

From 2007, the two-meter-tall Grewe, used in the defensive line, was part of the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes , with whom he came to the final of the German championship in 2008, but lost there. He first played in Kiel until the end of the 2008 season, then in 2009 with the Mönchengladbach Mavericks in the Regionalliga before he returned to Kiel. In 2010 he won the German championship title with the team. He was on the field for Kiel until 2012 and again later in the 2015 season. In 2011 and 2012 he was again German runner-up with the Ostseestädtern. In 2013 he played again for the Hamburg Blue Devils.

National team

In 2010 Grewe became European champion with the German national team. He took part in the 2011 World Cup and reached fifth place with the German team.
