Maximilian Pfaffinger (born May 6, 1988 in Rosenheim ) is a German soccer player .

Pfaffinger, who is mostly used in defensive or offensive midfield, began his career with TuS Raubling and then played for TSV 1860 Rosenheim before moving to the SpVgg youth team in 2003.

After playing in the Bayern League against Würzburger FV as an A-youth , he was permanently included in the squad of the second team in the summer of 2007. Pfaffinger made 18 appearances in the fourth-class Bayernliga in the 2007/2008 season - he scored two goals - and qualified with the second team of the Munich suburbs as a result of the license refusal for some other clubs for the newly created three-track Regionalliga Süd .

In the Regionalliga season 2008/2009 Pfaffinger started as a regular in midfield, but was promoted to the first team by coach Ralph Hasenhüttl due to several injuries and bans of other players and thus came to his first professional on the 7th matchday of the 3rd division - Use when he came on against SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 90th minute. On the 9th matchday, at the away game at Rot-Weiß Erfurt , he was in the starting line-up for the first time.

After he had been without a club since July 2010, he moved to the Baden-Württemberg league club SSV Reutlingen in November 2010 .

He has been without a club since July 2012.
