Maximiliano Córdoba , full name Maximiliano Jonathan Córdoba Borges , (born December 17, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.74-meter-tall offensive player Córdoba was part of the Liverpool Montevideo squad at the beginning of his career at the latest from the Apertura 2008 . With the Montevideans he played ten games (one goal) in the 2009/10 season and one game (no goal) in the Primera División the following season . In January 2012 he joined Liverpool's league rivals River Plate Montevideo , but he was not used there for the remainder of the 2011/12 season. In the 2012/13 season he ran in seven first division matches (no goal) for River Plate Montevideo. He moved to Danubio FC again within Montevideo in January 2013 . By the end of the season he received a total of 29 minutes of match practice in two league games (no goal) at his new club. He then spent the 2013/14 season on loan from the second division side Boston River from the beginning of September 2013 . The statistics show him four league appearances and one goal at this station. For the 2014/15 season he returned to Danubio. In the 2014/15 season and beyond so far (as of July 17, 2016), no deployment dates have been recorded, nor is he included in the first division team Danubios.

National team

Cordoba was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-20 national football team . With this he took part in both the U-20 South American Championship 2009 in Venezuela . In the tournament he was used in four international matches and scored once in the opposing goal.
