Maximiliano Sigales , full name Maximiliano Sigales Straneo , (born September 30, 1993 in San Carlos ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.84-meter-tall offensive player Sigales has been in the squad for at least the 2013/14 season of the then second division club Atlético Atenas . The club from San Carlos completed 19 games in the Segunda División in that 2013/14 season . He scored a goal. At the end of the season, his club rose to the highest Uruguayan league. In the 2014/15 season he was used 13 times (no goal) in the Primera División , but returned to the second division with the club at the end of the season. In the 2015/16 season he played 20 league games and scored eleven goals. At the beginning of July 2016 he moved to Godoy Cruz in Argentina . There he met once in seven first division appearances and was on the pitch three times (no goal) in the 2017 Copa Libertadores . In mid-July 2017, he was loaned to the Uruguayan first division club Boston River .
