The Mayrwipfl is 1725 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the eastern part of the Sengsengebirge . The summit is pushed forward from the main ridge to the south and only drops steeply to the east. The other flanks are moderately steep, wooded or covered by large stands of mountain pine . A short ridge continues to the north to the fire leak. Only unmarked trails lead to the summit, for example from the Mayralm through the southern flank. The Mayrwipfl is rarely visited by tourists in summer, but is a popular destination for ski tourers and snowshoe hikers in winter. At the summit there is a summit cross with a summit book.
