IC 1969 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sab in the constellation Horologium in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 899 million light years from the Milky Way and about 350,000 ly in diameter.
The object was discovered by DeLisle Stewart on December 6, 1899 .
