IC 1952 is a bar-spiral galaxy with extensive star formation areas of the Hubble type SBbc in the constellation Eridanus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 77 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 60,000 light years in diameter.
The property was discovered by DeLisle Stewart in 1899 .
