The Mazama Glacier (English Mazama Glacier) is located on Mount Baker in the North Cascades of Washington state . Between 1850 and 1950, the Mazama Glacier receded 7,700 ft (about 2,300 m). During a colder weather period from 1950 to 1979 it gained 1,476 ft (450 m), but between 1980 and 2006 it declined again by 1,509 ft (460 m). Located on the northern slopes of Mount Baker, the Mazama Glacier borders the Park Glacier in the south and the Rainbow Glacier in the east.
