The Hanging Glacier is a glacier in the North Cascades National Park in the US state of Washington . It is located on the northern slopes of Mount Shuksan . The Hanging Glacier is connected to Crystal Glacier at its upper limit and also flows into Upper Curtis Glacier . Hanging Glacier is on the route used for the first ascent of Mount Shuksan in 1939.
