Mount Shuksan is a glaciated mountain in North Cascades National Park in Washington state . It's located in Whatcom County , ten miles northeast of Mount Baker and about eight miles south of the Canadian border .
geology
The mountain is composed of Shuksan Greenschist (Shuksan- greenschist ), composed of oceanic basalt by the collision of the Easton terrane with the North American continent has formed about 120 million years ago.
