Mbulelo Mabizela
Mbulelo Mabizela (born June 16, 1980 in Pietermaritzburg ) is a South African football player . The defender was a South African international .
He started his career with the Orlando Pirates , with whom he became South African Champion in 2003. He then moved to Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. In 2005 he went to Vålerenga Oslo , with whom he became Norwegian champion. In the summer of 2006 he went back to South Africa for the Mamelodi Sundowns . The club were South African champions in 2006/07, but Mabizela was missing in the second half of the season after he was banned for six months in December 2006 because of a positive doping test . In 2009 he moved to the Platinum Stars , where he was under contract until 2011. Then he went to the Bidvest Wits . Other stations were Chippa United and the Mpumalanga Black Aces . In 2015 he moved to AmaZulu FC .
Mabizela was called up to the South African national team 45 times between 2001 and 2008 and scored two goals.
