The MD 600N is an eight-seat, single-engine turbine -powered helicopter made by the US manufacturer MD Helicopters .

The MD 600N is a further development of the MD 500 N.

The MD600N is driven by an Allison 250 -C47M shaft turbine equipped with a digital control system ( FADEC -Full Authority Digital Engine Control) , has a six-blade main rotor and, instead of a conventional tail rotor , a NOTAR system for torque compensation . This also makes this helicopter one of the quietest in its class with a sound pressure level of just 79 dB (in the flyby). A skid landing gear with built-in dampers is installed as the landing gear .
