biography

Early life

Jesse Ridgway grew up in Pittsgrove Township , near Elmer, New Jersey , as the son of Theresa and Jeffrey Ridgway Sr. He is the youngest of two sons (his brother is Jeffrey Ridgway Jr.). Not much is known from his childhood, but Jesse confirmed in 2015 that his most traumatizing year was 2000/2001 when he was 8 years old. That year his legs became paralyzed while walking on hot asphalt. In the same year he was attacked by one of his dogs, Fred. He was immediately rushed to the hospital on both events.

YouTube career

Ridgway started its YouTube channel "McJuggerNuggets" on December 9, 2006 and later started uploading some videos.

education

In 2010 Ridgway graduated from Arthur P. Schalick High School. In June 2014, he graduated from Rowan University with a film degree, but had to pay student loans of $ 70,000, which was difficult for him. In August 2015, however, he managed to pay this.

Youtube story

In 2006, Ridgway uploaded comedy and gaming videos, most of which took place in the Halo 2 video game. As of 2008, he mostly uploaded comedy skits with his friends.

"Overachievers" and "The GAME" (2009–2012)

The first series Ridgway created was "Overachievers" in 2009. When Overachievers was finished, Ridgway started a new series called "The GAME".

The "Psycho Series" (2012-2016)

Ridgway got over 20,000 subscribers for his skits, but he didn't really get popular until he put the Psycho Series on YouTube. He played the protagonist . The series ran from December 22, 2012 to June 6, 2016 and contained 50 main episodes and over 600 vlogs. Most of the videos are about Jesse's father destroying things (e.g. a game console or a TV) because he is dissatisfied with the son's behavior and gets into an argument . With the success of the series, he was able to pay off his student loans.

Shortly after the success of "Psycho Dad Shreds Video Games" ( Psycho-father shreds video games ) and other psycho-videos, Ridgway was a chance for a television appearance given. That's why he and his father Jeffrey Sr. flew to London to appear on the British TV show "Virtually Famous". The trip was filmed for Ridgway's Channel, but he and his father were in their characters the entire time.

The first summer Jesse lived the wrong life, while on vacation in North Carolina, he contracted mononucleosis and began to feel pain near his spleen . It later turned out to be an adhesion . That pain haunted him through the rest of the show and a little afterwards.

Jesse revealed a great deal of the behind-the-scenes interactions with the show's cameraman, Zachary Cornatzer, in The Truth About Corn Quitting.

CRISIS (June 2016)

When Ridgway and his family flew to Switzerland to film the final of the Psycho Series, a miniseries called "CRISIS" was filmed in which he wants to tell his viewers, who can't believe it, again that the Psycho Series wasn't real. He wrote the show in one day and it's 16 episodes. Behind the scenes clips have also been released. While these videos were uploading, Jesse took a break and recorded a real vlog in between.

Hollywood Hype / Documentary Series (July – September 2016)

A few weeks after Jesse and his family's Psycho Series life ended, Ridgway wanted to promote a documentary called " Psycho Family " by one of his friends, Brian Spitz, in order to hype the documentary up to its viewers. The series ran for the entire summer of 2016. A new cameraman, Parker Zippel, was introduced.

The soul of Ursula (October 2016)

Actually, Jesse wanted to do a series in October in which he and a few friends / family members visit abandoned or haunted places, but he changed the storyline and went around Ursula's house, which is said to be a haunted house.
