The McLeod Nunatakker are an isolated group of Nunatakkers in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They tower 35 miles southeast of the Tula Mountains .
They were mapped using aerial photographs taken by members of a team on the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1956. A sled team led by the Australian geodesist Graham Alexander Knuckey (1934–1969) paid a first visit to the mountain in December 1958. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the Nunatakker after Ian Roderick McLeod (* 1931), a member of the sled team.
