Meama (also: Meamo , Miama ) is an island in the center of Ha'apai in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu is located in the west of the Lifuka archipelago between Nukupule and Niniva and north of Lofanga .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Ha'apai group, Meama is occasionally hit by cyclones .
