Nukupule (also: Nougou Boule ) is an island in the center of Ha'apai in the Pacific . Politically, it belongs to the Kingdom of Tonga .
geography
The Motu is located in the west of the Lifuka archipelago with Meama and Niniva and north of Lofanga . With Meama, the island is part of the Hakau Lahi reef . The Ava Matanukupule Canal runs to the south .
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Ha'apai Group, Nukupule is occasionally hit by cyclones .
