Ichiei Muroi ( Japanese 室井 市 衛 , Muroi Ichiei ; born June 22, 1974 in Saitama Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Muroi learned to play soccer on the school team at Bunan High School . He signed his first contract with the Kashima Antlers in 1993 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champions in 1996 and 1998 . In 1997 he won the J.League Cup and the Kaiserpokal with the club . For the club, he completed 46 top division games. In 2000 he moved to the second division Urawa Reds . In 2000 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. In July 2001 he was loaned to the first division club Cerezo Osaka . In 2001 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup. For the club, he completed 10 first division games. In 2002 he returned to Urawa Reds. In 2003 he won the J.League Cup with the club. For the club he completed 69 games. In 2005 he moved to league competitor Vissel Kobe .
