Medal for drunkenness
The medal "For Drunkenness" (Russian Медаль "За пьянство") was a cast-iron medal that was introduced by Peter I in 1714 in the fight against alcoholism .
The mass of the medal (without chain) was 6.8 kg. It should have been the heaviest medal in history. It was "given" at the police station as a punishment for excessive alcohol consumption and was tied with a chain so that it could not be removed. According to some sources, the "medal" had to be worn for a week.
