MediClin Müritz Clinic

The MediClin Müritz-Klinikum is a basic and standard care hospital based in Waren (Müritz) . It is spread over four locations. The MediClin clinic group is responsible for this .

history

The Waren hospital was opened in 1871. It has been at its current location since 1914.

The Röbel / Müritz location was initially a district hospital. The house has existed since 1901. It joined the MediClin clinic group in 2002.

The day clinic in Parchim has existed since 2002, the day clinic in Neubrandenburg since 2006.

In 2017 the Federal Constitutional Court ruled that the violent medication of a psychiatric patient was not constitutional.

The internal and operative medicine clinics are located in Waren (Müritz):

  • Clinic for Gynecology and Obstetrics
  • Urology Clinic
  • Clinic for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine
  • Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic
  • Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine

  • Also: a center for outpatient surgery, an interdisciplinary pelvic floor center and a breast center.

The clinics for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics as well as child and adolescent psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics are located in Röbel.

The psychiatric day clinics are located in Parchim and Neubrandenburg.
