Medium Altitude Long Endurance

Medium Altitude Long Endurance (short: MALE ) is a possible classification of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). Medium Altitude refers to the operating altitude, which for MALE-UAVs is between about 5,000 and 15,000 m (15,000 - 45,000 ft ). Long Endurance describes mission times over 24 hours.
