Medstead is a village ( Village ) in the western Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is within the parish of Medstead No. 497 on Highway 794 . Medstead is about 60 km north of Battleford .

In 2011, according to another census, 120 people lived in the village. The population thus fell by 18.9% between 2006 and 2011. By 2016 it rose again by 8.3% to 130.
