Medusa in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom ( Vallejo , California , USA ) is a steel roller coaster of the Floorless Coaster model manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard , which opened on March 18, 2000 as the first floorless roller coaster on the US west coast . The cost was for 15 million dollars .
The 1200 m long route reaches a height of 46 m and has an equally high descent , on which the trains reach a speed of 105 km / h. With a 39 m high loop , a dive loop , a zero g-roll , the world's first sea serpent roll and two corkscrews , it also contains seven inversions .
Trains
