Meeksi (German: Meeks ) is a former rural community in Estonia with an area of 143.5 km². It had 648 inhabitants (2012). Since 2017 Meeksi part of the rural community of Räpina and changed with the municipal reform from Tartu county in Põlva County .
Meeksi is 55 km from Tartu . Much of the former municipal area is covered by forests and moors. In addition to the village of Meeksi, the rural community also included the villages of Aravu, Haavametsa, Jõepera, Järvselja, Meerapalu, Mehikoorma, Parapalu, Rõka and Sikakurmu.
The coastal strip on Lake Peipus is well worth seeing . The village of Mehikoorma (German: Mehikorm ) is one of the oldest settlements on Lake Peipus. It was first mentioned in connection with the battle on frozen Lake Peipus in 1242.
