Mega Lada

The sports club Mega-Lada is a club of the Russian speedway profile league, which is sponsored by the Russian automobile group Lada . The seat of the sports club is in Tolyatti in Samara Oblast . The club was founded in 1967.

In the Tolyatti Speedway Stadium, the finals for the European Speedway Championship and World Cup finals in the ice speedway took place. The Anatoly-Stepanov Stadium of the Mega-Lada Tolyatti sports club has 15,000 seats.

Until 2013, the ice speedway team Mega-Lada won the Russian championship in the ice speedway super league three times. One of the most important members of the speedway club is the multiple world champion Daniil Valerjewitsch Ivanov. He drove the fire of the XXII with his machine . 2014 Winter Olympics across the ice on the territory of the Tolyatti service and tourist complex.

Sports college Speedway Mega-Lada

With the support of the government, Anatoly Alexejewitsch Stepanow (1947–2009), a member of the Duma of Samara Oblast and President of the Mega-Lada sports club , founded a Speedway sports college. The school machines are equipped with motors from 50 to 500 cm³ and the frames are adapted to the age of the young drivers. A well-known young driver at the technical school is Emil Damirowitsch Saifutdinow , he was Junior World Champion in 2007 and 2008.
