Emil Damirowitsch Saifutdinow ( Russian Эмиль Дамирович Сайфутдинов ; born October 26, 1989 in Salawat , Bashkir ASSR , Soviet Union ) is a Russian speedway driver .

Career

He won the Speedway U21 World Championship in 2007 and 2008 and has been competing in the Speedway World Championship Grand Prix since 2009. He drove for the Russian Federation in the Speedway World Team Cup (SWC) in 2009, 2011 and 2012. He started his career in 2005 in Tolyatti at the Mega-Lada speedway club .

In 2011 he finished 6th in the Grand Prix, in 2012 5th and 6th again in 2013, although he participated in the last three World Championship Grands Prix in Krsko , Stockholm and Toruń due to a serious racing accident could not take part in a league race in the Motoarena Toruń on August 31, 2013 due to severe ligament injuries to the knee and elbow.
