Meganeira (daughter of Krokon)
Meganeira ( Greek Μεγάνειρα ) is a figure in Greek mythology .
She was the daughter of the Eleusinian king Krokon and married Arkas , the future progenitor of the Arcadians ; with him she begat the sons of Elatos and Apheida .
In other versions of the legend, Laodameia (sometimes called Leaneira ) or the nymph Chrysopeleia are also referred to as the consorts of Arkas.
