Megumi Sakata ( Japanese 坂 田 恵 , Sakata Megumi ; born October 18, 1971 in Kumamoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese soccer goalkeeper .

Career

She started her career at Nissan FC Ladies , where she played from 1990 to 1993. In 1994 he switched to Prima Ham FC Kunoichi . He then played for Tasaki Perule FC . In 2002 she ended her playing career.

National team

Sakata was appointed to the Japanese national team in 1989 and was used in the 1989 Asian Women's Cup . She was named to the squad for the 1991 and 1995 World Cup . In total, she played 10 international matches for Japan.
