Mehmet Çayan (born September 19, 1998 in Keşap ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Çayan started playing club football in the youth of Keşap Belediyespor , the sports club in his hometown Keşap. From here he moved to the Giresunspor youth department in 2007 . He left this club in 2011 and played for the youth departments of Maltepespor and Orduspor . In spring 2014 he returned to Giresunspor.

For the second half of the 2014/15 season he was involved in the training of the professional team and made his professional debut on January 27, 2015 in the cup match against Torku Konyaspor . In January 2015, he received a professional contract from his club. On May 16, 2015 he was used in the first division match against Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor and made his debut in the league.
