history

The house, which is covered with red roof tiles, was built in 1890 on the site of the former Fischertal estate owned by Johann Wilhelm Fischer by the Barmer Beautification Association , who acquired the site in 1876 and converted the associated quarry into a playground . At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, the facility was expanded to include tennis courts .
