The Theißen milestone is a listed milestone in the area of the district Theißen of the city of Zeitz in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the milestone is recorded as a minor monument under registration number 094 66226 .

The milestone of Theißen is a Prussian quarter milestone, one of three preserved milestones in the area of Theißen, from the early 19th century in the form of a small bell. It is located on the connecting road opened in 1821, today's Bundesstraße 91 , between Halle and Merseburg , which was later extended to Zeitz and was part of the Prussian highway from Berlin to Giebelroth on the Thuringian border.

Today the milestone is located 30 meters north of the roundabout south of Theißen on the eastern edge of the road. It is a testimony to the systematic route and distance information system in Prussian traffic history and was placed under monument protection in 2017. The heavily weathered stone was stored during the construction of the Zeitz bypass road in 2003 and 2004, but then put back up again.
