Meinhard Schmidt-Degenhard

Meinhard Schmidt-Degenhard (* 1956 in Hildesheim ) is a German television presenter and author.

Life

Meinhard Schmidt-Degenhard studied philosophy, psychology, theology and sociology. After completing an internship and training as a journalist, he worked for Radio Bremen .

Since 1986 he has worked for the Hessischer Rundfunk and ARD in Frankfurt am Main. There he was editor-in-chief and headed the television editorial department for Society and Religion. For 30 years he moderated the TV programs horizonte and the Sunday talk. Since summer 2016 he has been working as a freelance moderator, coach and interview trainer.

He lives in Friedrichsdorf in the Taunus .
