Master of the Yale Missal

As a master of the Yale Missal ( English Master of the Yale Missal) is a French illuminator of the 15th century. The artist, who is not known by name, was a close successor to Jean Fouquet and, like him, is on the threshold from the late Gothic to the early Renaissance.

Naming

The master of the Yale Missal got his emergency name after the illuminations he created on a missal , a missal that is now kept in the library of Yale University .
