Master of Agatharied

As a master of Agatharied is Gothic painter called, which in 1495 still in the Church today Agatharied in Upper Bavaria obtained panel paintings with representations of Saint Agatha has created. The interior of the parish church of Agatharied was changed in the Baroque style at the beginning of the 17th century . Early baroque altars were created for this, into which parts of the late Gothic winged altar by the master of Agatharied were integrated. The baroque high altar retable now contains two Gothic figures, which are flanked by sturdy columns and the no longer movable panel paintings by the master.
