Daniel "Dani" Pacheco Lobato (born January 5, 1991 in Pizarra ) is a Spanish football player .

Career

society

Before Pacheco moved to Liverpool , he played in the youth academy of FC Barcelona . His ability to score goals from almost any position earned him the nickname "El Asesino" ("The Killer") by his teammates.

He made his debut for the reserve team of the "Reds" on February 5, 2008 against Bolton Wanderers , where he also scored the first goal. In April 2008 he put on the decisive goal against Blackburn Rovers with a 45 meter pass , which led to the victory of the Premier Reserve League North.

He scored his first game for the professional team of Liverpool on December 9, 2009 when he came on for Alberto Aquilani in the UEFA Champions League match against Fiorentina . Just two weeks later he also made his first-team debut in the league against Wolverhampton Wanderers when he came back for Aquilani. On February 18, 2010, he came on in the UEFA Europa League match against Unirea Urziceni in the 75th minute, just six minutes later he put on the decisive goal for David N'Gog .

To gain game practice, Pacheco was loaned out to Norwich City in March 2011 through the end of the season . With the "Canaries" he made it to the Premier League.

On August 24, 2011, Liverpool announced that Pacheco would join Atlético Madrid on loan for a year . From there he is loaned to Rayo Vallecano .

On January 31, 2013 Pacheco was loaned to the Spanish second division club SD Huesca until the end of the season.

On September 2, 2013 Pacheco moved to the Spanish second division club AD Alcorcón .

For the 2014/15 season, Pacheco moved to Betis Sevilla .

National team

Pacheco took part with the Spanish U-19 national team in the U-19 European Football Championship 2010 in France. There the Spaniards reached the final, but lost it against hosts France. Pacheco was the tournament's top scorer.

Personal

His brother Juan Antonio (* 1984) played among other things in the youth of FC Málaga and for Cartagena Promesas and the CD Alhaurino in the Tercera División .
