Master of Pratovecchio
The Master of Pratovecchio ( Italian: Maestro di Pratovecchio) is an early Renaissance painter who is not known by name and who worked in Tuscany in Italy in the mid-15th century .
Naming and style
The master got his emergency name after his triptych, which comes from a church in Pratovecchio . The master, first mentioned around 1457, shows the influence of Andrea del Castagno and, like him, paints realistically and observing nature.
