Melanie Marshall
Melanie Marshall (born January 12, 1982 in Boston , Lincolnshire ) is a former British swimmer . Her main courses were the 200 meters freestyle and the 200 meters back . She held the European record for the 200 m freestyle (short course) from January 21 to December 10, 2006. Marshall lives in Loughborough and trained in the university sports club there. Currently, she trains the City of Derby Sports Club with the world record holder over 50 and 100m breaststroke Adam Peaty .

- European champion 2006 in Budapest with the 4 × 100 meter medley relay, bronze medal over 200 meters back
- Vice World Champion 2001 in Fukuoka with the 4 × 100 meter freestyle relay
- Fifth of the 2006 World Short Course Championships in Shanghai over 100 meters freestyle
