Melanie Verheyen (born July 22, 1989 in Kevelaer ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Verheyen began her career together with her younger sister Lena at VC Eintracht Geldern , where she was active in the regional league. In 2009, the diagonal attacker followed her sister, who had changed a year earlier, to the second division club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In 2011, she made promotion to the Bundesliga with the team.
