Lena Verheyen (born April 9, 1991 in Kevelaer ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Verheyen began her career together with her older sister Melanie at VC Eintracht Geldern , where she was active in the regional league. In 2008 Bayer 04 Leverkusen discovered the diagonal attacker at the West German youth championships, whereupon she moved to the second division. In 2011, she made promotion to the Bundesliga with the team.
