Melcões is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Lamego . The community had 124 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the communities of Melcões, Cepões and Meijinhos were merged to form the new community of União das Freguesias de Cepões, Meijinhos e Melcões .
