Melchior Werdenberg (born April 19, 1954 in Schaffhausen ) is the literary pseudonym of the Swiss lawyer Hans Baumgartner .

biography

Melchior Werdenberg grew up with two older siblings as the son of a customs officer in various border towns in eastern Switzerland. He came to Zurich when he was nine. He attended the Rämibühl literary school and then the University of Zurich .

He worked as a district attorney (1981–1991) and judge (1992–1994) mainly in the field of drug and white-collar crime.

He was 1990 beige coated Coroner Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry PUK EMD for clarification of events of great importance in the Federal Military Department , longtime Military Appeals Judge (1988-2004) and wrote his dissertation on the undercover agent . He has been a lawyer since 1994.
