Melisa Dilber Ertürk (born August 9, 1993 in Ottawa ) is a Canadian soccer player of Turkish descent.
Life
Melisa Ertürk was born as the daughter of the former Turkish professional soccer player Mehmet Ertürk and a Franco-Canadian in the Canadian province of Québec .
From September 2006 she attended the Queen Elizabeth Public School for three years , where she played the Royals in the Womens Soccer Team. After graduating from Queen Elizabeth Public School, Ertürk attended Colonel By Secondary School for a year, where she played soccer and volleyball for the Cougars. In the summer of 2011, she enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University for public health while playing for the Blue Raiders. In August 2012, she went to the University of Tennessee at Martin , where she continued her public health studies.
Football career

In addition to her career in the athletic teams of high schools , she played from 2003 for the Gloucester Hornets Soccer Club and from 2006 to 2009 for the Nepean Hotspurs. In spring 2012 she returned to Canada after a year with the Blue Raiders and has since played for Ottawa Fury in her hometown .
National team
Ertürk is a former U-17 and U-19 national player for Turkey. She made her debut in the Turkish senior team on March 26, 2010 against Sweden .
Personal
Ertürk's father Mehmet is vice president of the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association and was a long-time professional at İstanbulspor .
